What Is Causes Cancer?

Cause of cancer is the failure of DNA, creating mutations in genes essential mitotic process control as well as other important mechanisms. One or more mutations accumulate will cause uncontrolled proliferation and tumor formation. The tumor is an abnormal mass of tissue, can be malignant, or cancerous, or benign, or benign tumors. Only malignant tumors invade other tissues and new metastases.
Cancer is not due to a cause. A carcinogenic agent that can cause some types of cancer and a type of cancer can be caused by several different factors. Most cancer has many causal factors and risk factors. The causes of cancer can be divided into two main groups of external causes such as tobacco, nutrition is unreasonable and the underlying cause, such as genetic disorders.
Over 80% of cancer causes originating from the external environment and by avoiding or limiting exposure to these factors we can prevent many types of cancer. Among the external causes, the physical factors contribute significant portion of carcinogenicity in humans include:
Ionizing radiationIonizing radiation is radiation emitted from radioactive substances, natural or man-made radiation sources are used in science, medicine has the potential to ionized material. There are many agencies appear cancer after irradiation in which must include thyroid cancer, lung cancer, leukemia.
Historically there is much evidence related to ionizing radiation and cancer. In the 16th century, many miners in Joachimstal (Czechoslovakia) and in Schneeberg (Germany) suffering from a lung disease and death. Later it was found that people suffering from lung cancer caused by radioactive substances in the black ore containing uranium. It also noted the incidence of lung cancer is high in uranium mining workers mid-20th century.
Many scientists about radiation, X-rays of the first in the world did not know self-defense and many of them suffering from skin cancer and acute leukemia (a type of blood cancer).
Acute leukemia has a high incidence among the survivors of the atomic bombings in Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945. Likewise, after the nuclear power plant explosion in Chernobyl, thyroid cancer rates and blood cancer also increased in later years.
Carcinogenic effects of radiation depend 3 factors are:- Age exposure Finer danger, the fetus is most dangerous.- The higher the dose, the greater danger.- Agencies sensitive to radiation: thyroid, bone marrow.
Ultraviolet radiation: ultraviolet sun rays can cause skin cancer.Cancer Causes Ultraviolet light in sunlight causes skin cancer mainly. The closer to the equator the more powerful UV. People who work outdoors, such as farmers, sailors, construction workers, road workers had skin cancer rates than those who work indoors and are often in areas of exposed skin. The whites have less pigment to protect the skin against sunlight than dark-skinned people. Therefore, when migrating to live in the tropics, the equatorial whites vulnerable to skin cancer than other races.
Excessive sunbathing movement also increases the risk. The solar ultraviolet strongest during the summer from 11 am to 3 pm. The highest risk for the time the sun on the top and slide the ball short. Best to avoid the sun when the body is shorter ball and sees it as a rule. Protective clothing such as hats and long sleeves can help prevent harmful sun rays.
Many cancers are related to environmental factors and can be prevented. Smoking is one of the factors that cause the most cancer risk.
Cancer can cause many different symptoms depending on the location, characteristics and metastatic ability of tumor. Identify cancer diagnosis often requires a biopsy and microscopic observation. People with cancer can be treated with surgery, chemotherapy or radiation therapy.
If not treated early, most types of cancer can be fatal, this is one of the main causes of death in developed countries. Most cancers can be treated and many patients can be cured, if detected and treated early.
Cancer can be reduced and controlled through the application of prevention strategies, early detection and treatment of cancer. Many cancers have a high chance of cure if the cancer is diagnosed early and adequate treatment promptly.
